APAWLA-Bet Tzedek Family Preparedness Workshop

06/26/2017 11:58 am

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS!

APAWLA-Bet Tzedek Family Preparedness Workshop

Sunday, July 9, 2017
12:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Asian Youth Center
100 West Clary Avenue
San Gabriel, CA 91776

To Volunteer, please RSVP with APAWLA by July 5 to:
Sandy Yu
(213) 365-0671
sandyy08@gmail.com

Please join APAWLA and Bet Tzedek at our upcoming Family Preparedness Workshop! Families in Los Angeles County today can face a whole range of obstacles, including emergencies that may take parents out of the country and make them temporarily unable to care for their children. The consequences can be devastating - children can be left without any person having the legal authority to enroll them in school or to authorize medical treatment.

APAWLA seeks attorney and non-attorney volunteers to conduct one-on-one consultations and help equip families with the knowledge and tools necessary to provide for their children's temporary care.

MCLE-eligible training will be provided for volunteers promptly at 12:00PM.

To volunteer, please see the RSVP information above.
